Every evening, my mom would throw some leftover rice out of the kitchen window to road behind our house. And after a few minutes, birds of all kinds come in flocks to have their share of the free food. Mostly crows, sparrows and pigeons. And the occasional cats, but they are not birds, so I'll leave them out of the picture.

It was rainy day yesterday and when the sun peeked out a little and the rain began to stop pouring, the flock of birds came in flocks in hopes of white bits of goodness on the damp ground. And they were right. Good animal instincts, I believe. I decided to whip out my camera and took a few shots of them and that was when I noticed, life come out from hiding after the cold, gloomy showers of nature.

There was nothing like a good cool after-rain atmosphere, drops of rain waiting for the right time for gravity to release it from the laundry line and birds come a'gliding. Time to come out and play again.
