Day Two started with lots of nose-blocks and a fair share of sneezing as the air-con last night was crazily cold and not surprised that Nay slept through the whole night like some polar bear, minus the layers of fur. Manjit-pua headed to school before we even woke up, so we had the whole house to ourselves for the whole morning.
After having Milo which tasted like Sustagen and mini cupcakes for breakfast, we decided to call a cab early, to avoid the KL rush hour. So, we got a number from Manjit-pua and I did the calling while the others listened closely. And yes, I spoke in Mandarin since I am the Chinese-ed one. As expected, the words came out awkward but surprisingly, it was pretty smooth. The words flowed good, considering the lack of usage of Mandarin in school now, since the only other Chinese person in class is well, Nay who insists that she is 'ENGLISH'. LOL
Unfortunately, there wasn't any cabs in the precinct. So, we had to grab our bags and head out to hunt down a cab. Luckily, just when we stepped out of the condo, we flagged down a cab and ran towards it. Again, imagine nay with her huge one-day luggage of bodies, I mean, 'bantal busuk's. lmao Our cab drier turned out to be famous Malaysian writer, A. Samad Said! -like. Haha He had the beard and white hair all going for him. He was a nice taxi diver =)
As we were on the road to the Zetro Building in Wangsa Maju, it was all good until we had a great shock of our lives when this motorcyclist who tried to overtake us from the right when we had our signal lights to the right. So, as the cab went right, it kinda squeezed the motorcyclist and i think he lost control of his bike and his leg scratched the divider. it was freaky in a way. Aaaaah! Our cab driver stopped the taxi and after speaking to the man, they shook hands and we were back on our way.
To cut to the chase, we got there an hour early and since no one was there yet, we decided to hang around the canteen.

This was right before the briefing started. |
The briefing started at 11am sharp on the dot with Mr. Prem, briefing us about all the details. it was all easy-going and a light session. We were called out one by one to give em an intro kinda thing upon stage. It was pretty awkward but i guess, I did fine. It's a really great thing to know that everyone there were exceptionally friendly and seemed like nice, nice people. Met some new acquaintances which I'm quite happy about. LOL
After that, we met up with Izzat a.k.a Isaac a.k.a Izz in Carrefour opposite the Zetro building to have lunch in Subway. Subway Melt + Choc cookies + Coke = HEAVEN. Nuff 'said.
It was time to head back home before rush hour catches us again. Took the LRT, this time. Interchanged at Masjid Jamek to get to Bandar Tasik Selatan. After a couple of drinks, we were on the way home.
PS: Okay, there are more pictures on the second day but my internet connection now sucks hell but I'm gonna publish this anyway. Rarr
