Weekend in Bulletpoints

This past weekend had the word "Above Average" spelled all over 'cause I ...

  • Caught The Avengers with my daddio and brother at the new TGV cinema at Jusco Bukit Indah on the day before it even opened and we got free popcorn! Finally went to watch it mainly because it was a buzz around my mates, MIB3 wasn't on yet and the dashing Brit, Tom Hiddlestone which I got to like from Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris played the villain Loki. I thought it was surprisingly good especially when Tony Stark shot his witty banter at me with a shotgun.
  • Got a pair of Mary Jane Crocs with a whale Jibbitz to replace my worn off Summit black pumps which I specifically bought for LIMA'11
  • Oh which reminds me the LIMA2013 website is up! It's gonna be held next March and I'm stoked to be able to be part of it again!
  • Had seafood at a restaurant in Seremban and I pretty much walloped most of the butter prawns, although it wasn't the best batch of butter prawns I've ever tasted. The grilled crab was great too but to avoid the revenge of my eczema, I only had two clamps.
  • Travelled up north to the capital of Kuala Lumpur to spend time with my cousins and my grandma.
  • Tried a cup of honey and apple cider and it tasted good.
  • Had lunch at Taang Shifu @ 1Utama Shopping Mall and had yummy Mee Suah with Rice Wine. It wasn't so strong that I'd go tipsy and the wine wasn't too overpowering. It went really well with my desert of choice, Snow Jelly with Gingko Nuts!
  • Went prom dress shopping and tried on some potential dresses and fell in love with some but ended up coming back with nothing. It was always either because of the wrong hemline, colour, length, top, sleeves, cut, material or/and price. I get really frustrated and fed up. With prom coming at me in about two weeks, the stoked feeling has certainly died down.
  • listened and bought Jason Mraz's Love Is A Four Letter Word because he is incredible and I practically begged my mum to allow me to go for his concert in either Singapore or the one in KL but she just won't say yes! My heart literally stop beating and wilted like a frail, weak and dried-up flower. I've never wanted to go for any concert so much in my life, not even the MCR one I went when I was 14! Guess now I'm just left with his albums, YouTube videos and I am so gonna get the DVD when it comes out! :'(
  • found out some interesting, I repeat, interesting facts about some of my cousins that I've never imagined it could ever happen!
  • kept in touch with my South African host families via email and hopefully this will continue as the months unfolds. I learnt about them so much more than the sacred moments I've spent with them for that one week in each family.
  • finished reading The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and can't wait for the movie to come out!

Not in the mood for a Economics seminar tomorrow, smack right in the middle of the holidays!
