Snow Whites and the Huntsmen

Met up with my ex-tuition mates, Isaac, Anisha and Agilan at Aeon Bukit Indah since we're all living around the area. Wanted to meet up with Kavin to complete the Taekwondo gang of four but he was in KL. Got to know a new friend, Ryan who was Anisha's classmate at Sunway and Isaac's churchmate. We all clicked instantly and hit it off talking and blabbering like we have known each other for umpteen years and making fun of everyone and everything we talked about. All in good fun, all in good fun.

Waiting for Mr. Ryan Gomez to be pulled out of the magician's hat.
As usual, we couldn't decide where to have lunch so we made Ryan, being the latest of the five to arrive to pick. Since he didn't really knew the place and the restaurants that were there, Isaac asked him to pick an alphabet. Randomly, he blurted out 'S' and we all settled for Secret Recipe, instead of Subway 'cause the ones sold in the Bukit Indah flagship were soggy and smaller than the rest.

I had my usual Dory Fish with Lobster Sauce and a cup of Iced Cappuccino. It wasn't sinfully tasteful but was good. The carrots that came with it looked dead and dried. We chatted and exchanged college experiences and talked about university. It was nice to get an update about what my dear friends are up to.

We caught Snow White and The Huntsman. I was glad that there wasn't much fuss about what movie to watch 'cause I'm lucky to have friends that are really free and easy and don't fuss about the little things in life. They pretty much go with the flow and enjoy every moment there is. So, Snow White it was! Well, Agilan was tweeting literally the whole movie. LMAO

The movie was pretty great, I thought. The plot was intriguing, leaving you on the edge of each scene, wanting more and wondering what comes next. If you love scenic photography and fantastic flutter effects, this is the movie for you! I particularly enjoyed it when the queen evolves into a flutter of crows. Charlie Theron, playing Queen Ravenna, was a perfect casting. She exudes silent evilness in poise just by the grace of her walk and her dagger stare. I was really surprised by Kirsten Stewart's performance, in a good way. I thought she would come off like Joan Jett and Bella Swan, awkward. But she's definitely proved me wrong in this one. This movie is one to catch, I'd say! (Sam Claflin's one hot person to watch too!)

Ze dudes.

Walked around a bit after the movie and got nail polish! The guys were sweet as they went into the store and made fun of us, being in the store checking out girly stuff like nail polish and face stuff. Well, I don't know about you but some guys just wait outside of the store impatiently. LOL I'm glad I have sweet friends :)

Anyway, till the next time we met, guys!
