Balls. |
Being a sports-maniac that I am, when Naomi told the class that we were going for a full-on bowling sesh that saturday as our co-curricular activity for the week was bliss. Not that ignorance isn't. Since I've stopped going for Taekwondo training for almost 3 months now and I dearly miss it, my stamina or my ability/strength to withstand any sort of muscle-stretching, sweating activity has gone to the dogs, in bowling terms, to the gutter ;) That is how unfit I am. Unfit, I repeat. Like if you throw me the lightest dumb-bells, I'll probably dodge and avoid it like it's some huge Wipeout big ball or something of that sort.
So, I was glad that not only I get to hang out and do something fun with my peeps outside of school, I also get to try my hand in a new sport which I've never played before (seriously!), BOWLING! Oh yeah, not expecting to be like straight-on Esther Cheah or Shalin Zulkifli but you know, at least expand my sports horizon a little bit. Place! Danga City Mall. Time! After we get our marks for co-curricular activities for the rest of this year. So, after all that razz-ma-tazz, we snapped a group pic and went off on our own to the Mall.

Funny-ass face that killed the world. |
Miss
Naomi Watts couldnt make it cuz she was busy up north, drooling all over Westlife in their Gravity Tour 2011. Damn, guess I couldnt laugh at her then. Hehe
And so, Pn Florence (our History guru), Gup and I halted a cab to the place. It's not everyday I get to sit in one of our Malaysian taxis, so I was a tad bit nervous, you know, I didnt know what to expect. In this cab, in particular, the back was horrendously sempit. The backseats and the frontseats were sooooo close together that our legs can barely fit into the space! And please note that Gup and I have legs like the stick used for pole vaulting. We were tangled giraffes.
 |
See the space between the backseat and the front? Horrendous! |
When we reached our destination, as usual, the place was quiet and empty. It took us quite a long time to get everything done, with the registration, the shoes, the prices, the lanes and stupid things that should have taken just a jiffy! So, we practically sat on the nice roll-around chairs there. i think they are supposed to be seats for spectators. They move around in an 'L' shape and are super fun to sit on.

The Alley. |

Chi, doing her thang on the swingy chair. |
Okay, yeah. So, we got our shoes. And we were playing in Lane 17 which was at the end of the whole alley. Which was good, in a way, so that nobody gets to really see how suckish we were at it. Cuz most of the people were really just paying attention to the Upper Sixes in the middle alleys. So, I played against Gup, Chi and Michelle. And I was really intimidated by them at first cuz I was the only one who hasn't really bowl before. Gup has, and Chi and Michelle went for the bowling competition during Pre-Carnival. So, it was basically a no brainer game. LOL

GUPPY // GUP |
Gup was first and she freakin' killed the first one with a strike. WTF All of us teased her saying, it must be the height and the hair that's giving her special hair strength power or something! haha As she flicks her hair and strikes, we sat back, clapped and cringed. Hahahaa!
 |
MICHELLE // THNG |
Then, it was Michelle's turn! She was going slow (not as slow as me though!) in the beginning, but once she got the pace, she rammed the whole lane like it was hers!
 |
CHARMAINE // CHARMAINE |
After two gutterballs, I finally got 3. Yes, I admit. I suck. But it was all in good fun lah! At least what came out of the whole thing was happiness and laughter shared, at and with me. Oh well ! I had a good time, laughing at myself!
 |
CHI // CHIIII |
Chi was next and she rocked it as well. No strikes but a lot of close ones. Damn, I really need lessons or more practices. Outcome of the whole game? Observe picture below. You do the math.

Yay! =) |

Foursome Pawsome. |
It was a great game and I really had fun, laughing my ass off and of course, bowling my ass off. Haha We should totally do this more often man! Like do a inter-school thing or like some MPPPU bonding event. it's gonna be so much fun!
For now, back to studying :'( There's still 5 papers to finish in the next two weeks and I am so not ready for any of them. I'm dead meat if I don't start something now.
And DANG, my McDonalds is not here yet. WTF I'm hungry.
