love you long time :)

I got the sun in my pocket and the moon in my hands.
...
It has been 6 days since I left South Africa and it still feels like it was just yesterday that I boarded the flight to Johannesburg. And, i can certainly claim, with no doubt whatsoever, that i miss everything about it already! It's like being out of home for a couple of years.

That sober and solemn feeling inside.

I miss the air, the weather, the friendly people, the cool breeze, the houses, the picturesque view when i look out of my room window, the wildlife, the jacrandas by the road, the beaches, the free birds, EVERYTHING, basically. The people who made my  journey to Southern Africa worth-while and fulfilling, the most, perhaps.

And now being back in Malaysia, I'm as happy as when i touched down in South Africa. Bittersweet, the feeling is called i think. It's something like this:  I miss my biltong and droewors but I wouldnt want to leave out my laksa and nasi lemak in my daily menu either. Cant imagine having salads and cheese for every meal, can I?

And so, here I am, at this moment, recalling every sweet and sour memory of the past one month and blogging about post-Africa life. Haha! It's so funny that I've been dreaming about this exchange program at this time last year and now, it's all over and done with.

Time waits for no man.

Well, at least now that i'm home, I get to catch up on everything i left off a month ago. Like, college plans, TV time, reading, hanging out with friends and just simply enjoying post-spm freedom to the max. And, start blogging again and getting out of my 2 month + hiatus. Friends are all in college living the what-we-thought-was-supposedly-to-be-awesome college life, working to earn their first pot of gold,  and some of them are just living their life to the max before getting onto the Hot Study Tamale Train.

Time really waits for no man.
